Fahad met Raji while visiting Berlin, and over the course of a few weeks, they became good friends. When Fahad was leaving Berlin, Raji made him do a pinky promise that he would shoot her engagement and wedding, even though the dates were not fixed at that time.
The engagement ceremony took place at Raji's home in Hyderabad, and when asked how it felt to shoot the event, Fahad said, "Naan paathathalaye romba alagaana nichayam. Raji oda nichayathaartham." He had borrowed a dialogue from the Tamil movie Kaaka Kaaka, which was spoken by the actor Suriya.
The event was an intimate gathering with only 50 people, and the pictures that Fahad took are proof of how laughter-filled the occasion was.
